This post has been a long time coming, but I felt it was still blog-worthy. Last Halloween was definitely a bittersweet experience for a few people at our house. But first, the costumes!

Lucy – a bee. Isn’t she just the cutest bee you ever saw? Even though the picture is blurry, you get it.

Taivan – a cow. And a sweet one. Although I think he would technically be the calf. . .

Matthew – Spock. Yeah. This was a very fun costume to put together. And that is saying something because I tend to shy away from creative things, including costumes.

Jenny – A jungle explorer/biologist? I can’t quite remember what she settled upon in the end.

And last, but certainly not least.

Tommy – Dinosaur. Last year he was a dragon and his costume looked similar, but a size smaller. He loved it though and it is important to keep the little ones warm for Wyoming Halloweens.

NOW. . . for the not so fun part. Jenny and Matthew went trick or treating with their friends, but Jenny ended up cutting hers short because she wasn’t feeling well. Without going into too many details, she and Tommy were both sick that night, and not because of eating too much candy. Yeah. And although I wasn’t sick, I helped with cleanup and that wasn’t any fun. Glad that’s over. And I am very thankful for washing machines. Smile
