Happy Birthday, Mannie!

Only have videos for this post. We did have a fun party though! I am so glad Matthew is not picky or concerned with the details that don’t matter. Tom and I had this whole thing planned that instead of Matthew opening his birthday gifts, we would set up a treasure hunt for him to find them. Well, somehow all the surprises got ruined for Matthew before the treasure hunt even started. I got upset and Jenny was crying, and Tom was trying to not to get upset about the ruined surprises. Then Tom realized that Matthew wasn’t upset or disappointed in the least. He was happy and he was just excited to know what his gifts were, so why should any of the rest of us get so bent out of shape when it was Matthew’s birthday and he was happy? Perspective. The happiness came back to the party because the birthday boy was and is happy about what counts the most.
