Jenny lost her first tooth! And her red eyes in the picture go so well with her shirt, don’t you think?
Jenny brought home this little leaf bouquet that she had made at recess from the leaves and stems on the playground. Very festive and creative. I wish it were one of those things that could last from year to year. But it isn’t so I had to take a picture.
I have made a couple more baby afghans. I forgot to take a picture of the other one, but maybe the person I gave it to will send me a picture of it (hint, hint. )
And our annual Halloween-sugar-cookie-making-decorating was a hit! We had so much fun. (And I ate WAY too many cookies!)
And last of all, for our Family Home Evening activity on Monday night, we carved our pumpkins into Jack O’ Lanterns. Jenny picked the face design for the one on the left and Matthew picked the one on the right. And of course, we made our yummy pumpkin seeds out of the seeds inside. Lucy called them pumpkin almond chips for the first little bit. Silly girl. I will post the recipe on saltandpieper.blogspot.com.
