I know it is a few days since Father’s Day, but I still want to post something. It has been seven and a half years since Tom and I were married and six and a half years that Tom has been a father. And in all that time, there has never been a time that he has not taken care of me and my children in a way that only a father can. He takes his responsibilities very seriously. And he has been named very appropriately–Thomas Raymond–Raymond means protecting hands.

Tom would say that he doesn’t know why, but my children absolutely adore their father. I watch them interact and know that it is because they know how much he loves them. He has some amazing abilities that make him a wonderful father. He is a gifted teacher. He knows how to teach concepts to my children so that they really understand. He knows that in order to best prepare our children for the outside world, we need to arm them with truth. And that is exactly what he helps me to do.

I love you, Tom. I am so blessed to have you as my husband and as the father of my children. I hope you enjoy your Father’s Day gift. 🙂
