So this is very late. It seems like Jenny’s birthday gets posted about months after the fact. At least it is up here. I guess something to shoot for next year is getting this done right after it happens.
A picture of the birthday girl holding her little brother.
Both Matthew and Jenny had their cousins over to play for the occasion.

Lucy is old enough now that she get VERY excited about birthdays, even it isn’t her own. Those big eyes mean excitement!
The ice cream cake Jenny requested made of homemade raspberry ice cream and homemade brownies. It was yummy, but kind of a pain and would have tasted the same had I just made them separately. Good to know for next time.
A picture of Jenny holding up her favorite gift. It is a Zhu-zhu pet. Lucy loved it, too, so much that with Jenny’s birthday earnings, she bought Lucy her own Zhu-zhu pet.
Oh. These two girls. Jada and Jenny are such good friends and when we were leaving Laramie both of these girls were in tears. Of course I started bawling, too. I didn’t know at the time that we would be moving to the same little town where Jada’s aunt lives and where Jada’s family comes to visit many times during the summer. So not AS sad now.
It was a fun birthday. Look at my kids. Growing up so fast. Where does the time go? Cliché, I know, but that is really what it feels like looking at these pictures.
