I don’t you about y’all out there, but one of my fondest memories from grade school was participating in the musical plays each year. So when I heard that Matthew and Jenny had the same opportunity, I encouraged them to try out. At first they seemed hesitant, even a little shy about it. Once I had answered all of their questions, they seemed at least willing to try. Matthew was cast as a Camelotian and Jenny was cast as Mini Queen Guinevere. It is always amazing to me that they can try out, rehearse, and put on a full play with songs in less than a week. It was really fun for them, just as I remember it being. Matthew is still singing the songs he learned. But he is always singing or playing the piano lately. It is hard for me not to discourage it because I hear a lot of the same songs sung and played over and over again. He loves music though so I am trying really hard to encourage learning new songs instead.

As you can see, these are not the greatest pictures ever. As any mom with little busy ones knows, it is easier to park near the back or edge of something in public in case you have to escape quickly. So these are the pictures from the edge. And Tom was doing the videoing for the school so I didn’t have his extra hands like I normally do. I didn’t get very many pictures because Tommy fell off the bleacher and I had to rescue and escape. Don’t worry. He was fine. Just another bump added the collection he seems to acquire every day. If he would just stop climbing. . . Smile

Most of the cast and crew if not all. I can’t remember. I was trying to hurry so Tommy wouldn’t climb and fall while I was taking a few snap shots. Fun memories made.
