Lucy is becoming more and more mobile. She enjoys rolling clear across the floor now and putting little pieces of ?!?! in her mouth. Here you can see her teething on her finger.
She enjoys making the floor her own creative space. I’m not sure how long it will be before she decides to start pulling her knees underneath her and crawling. I guess we will see.
The big new is recently she has decided to start sitting up. She has her own style of sitting and it is not like any other baby I have ever seen. She doesn’t sit with her legs bent, but in a V-sit with her legs completely straight. I guess she is just trying to keep her current flexibility. Also, you can see we got new carpet in our living room. It is heavenly. Our old stuff was laid with no padding or tack strip. Lucy seems to know it is clean and I feel better about her playing on the floor now.
And of course, Matthew and Jenny wanted to get in on the action while I was taking the pictures. Pretty cute kids, if I do say so myself.
