A few days ago Matthew brought home a note from his art teacher that said Matthew’s art had been selected to hang in the principal’s office for a month. This is a picture of his artwork hanging in the principal’s office. We are pretty proud of him.
For good behavior, students are also given green slips with a description of the good behavior and a reward. Matthew brought home a couple of these slips. He loves and thrives on this positive attention. Apparently Jenny knows this and in her prayers has been asking for Matthew to get a green slip that day.
Matthew’s Kindergarten has also been practicing for weeks to perform a song that they have been working on for the annual talent show. Jenny, Lucy, Aunt Jamie, Ikie, and I were able to watch and listen to Matthew sing. As you can see, he was a bit nervous (with his hands by his face). It was great to see him sharing his talents. In this video he is second from the right with the dark gray shirt. You can also hear Lucy sharing her talented little voice in the background.
