The Before
The After
Having kittens does not go well with having a Christmas tree. Need I say more? We had our tree up for less than a week. The second time the kittens knocked it over, the stand on the bottom of the tree broke. So I guess we will be going the rest of the holiday without a tree. Maybe I will just string all the lights around the house (in a place the kitties can’t get to as easily). That will have to be festive enough. I guess we will figure out a place to put the presents once I get them wrapped. And like Tom was saying earlier to the kids, “Would you rather have a pretty Christmas tree, or kitties?” The kids didn’t hesitate to answer, “Kitties!” and I have to echo them. We have had so much fun with them already. Who cares about the $40 Christmas tree? That was WHY we bought a cheap one a few years ago. Not kitties exactly, but pets and toddlers.
We are feeling Christmas. A video to prove part of that point.
And some more evidence
The TRUE Christmas spirit. Lucy dressed up like “Jesus’ mother Mary” as she says it.
And who can resist this face? I think Tommy is always in the Christmas spirit whether he knows it or not! He is such a fun, happy boy! (If you look closely in these pictures, you will see runny noses. Yes. We have had a few colds around here, but I think we are past this round.)
