One morning a few weeks ago, I could feel that it would be one of the last nice days we have here before winter hits full force. This fall has been so beautiful and we have truly taken advantage of the good weather and visited the park many times. This particular day it started out cold and although it warmed up nicely (it was about 65 degrees) Lucy was loving her coat too much to take it off. Here she is being pretty brave standing at an opening for the “bigger” kids.

Swinging in the big kid swings. Oh, how Lucy loves being outside! This particular day we were at the park for about two hours and our hunger drove us home. Otherwise Lucy could have stayed out all day at the park. I am really trying to enjoy and relish my alone time with this girl. It won’t be long before I we will be adding another little one to our lives and these times with just Lucy and me will be harder to have.
