This year for Mother’s Day I have really been given the royal treatment. At least that is what it feels like to me. Of course the kids (Matthew and Jenny–I think Lucy is a little young to understand quite) made me some homemade gifts that I love! I think the handcrafted cards are my favorite, but will enjoy the candy, pencils, and hand prints, too. I will post Lucy’s own version of a gift at the end of this post in a video. Oh, and Tom super surprised me with a new camera. I love our old camera, but it is so big that it is hard to haul around everywhere. He bought me a little point and shoot and I love it! So you will probably be seeing a few more pictures. Hope you don’t mind.

And last, before the video of Lucinda, we have our nephew Jaed living with us for the summer now so, Tom surprised me once again by taking me on a Mother’s Day date last night and we had Jaed babysit (or just sit at home while our kiddos slept). We went to one of our favorite places to eat–Subway–and then saw the new Iron Man. Very fun. And of course the above picture is of us after our date. I love that man.
