Seven is a lucky number
Where do I begin? Tommy has been in our family now for seven years. He is the sweetest, most imaginative, curious, bright, vibrant, focused, intelligent boy. Here he is loving Toby, our new adopted dog. A boy and his dog. He loves his siblings, and he loves learning. Everything. He doesn’t have just one favorite

Carla’s Coming!
Carly has been with us now for four months. I am going to do my best to remember the circumstances surrounding her birth because they are important to me. Before this delivery, I had five epidurals. Two of them went very smoothly and the other three did not. The epidural with Matthew’s delivery I couldn’t

OK Spring Break – AKA Awesome Vacation in Oklahoma and Missouri
For spring break this year we decided we needed to get out of town, out of the house, away from the sickness that seemed to plague us after Christmas this year. We had wanted to visit cousins in Oklahoma and Missouri for a long time. So we made it happen. Tom couldn’t come because he

Opposition in all things
So I am behind in other posts I should have written already. But I need to write this. For myself mostly. And to remember. This is a picture of me a day before I found out that things were not going to turn out the way I thought. And since this is one of the

UGA Veterinarian Day
For one of our homeschooling field trips this spring we were able to attend the Veterinarian Day in Athens put on by the College of Veterinary Medicine at UGA. We were able to go with the Hanifords, our favorite homeschooling family. 😉 Everything was free and they had jars everywhere to donate money for the
